Real decent pizza, decent size and great price. Server was friendly. Old decor like an old time joint. I'd come back if I'm in the area probably for a pasta dinner or something. Food even if not the best ever is completely passable and this place gives a very consistent product so A+ for that.

Aug 2023. Enjoyed lunch here at the recommendation of a long-time Columbia resident. I was surprised I didn’t know about the a Pizza Palace already. Perfect neighborhood spot, the owner and customers all seemed to know each other.

Fantastic restaurant to eat at, lots of Italian dishes, not just focused on pizza, the food there can be off some days, but even though off, it still tastes great. It's a small family business that does have limited tables, but often, not much of a wait when you'd choose to eat there. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Fair pricing, some things may seem a bit overpriced, but when you see the portions they give you, you'd understand the pricing. They have a bar, tvs for game days, highchairs, and places for wheelchair seating.

I recently tried the Italian sub at Pizza Palace located at 1314 Leesburg Rd # T, Columbia, SC 29209, and it was an absolute delight! This sub exceeded all my expectations and stands out as one of the best I've ever had. The combination of fresh, flavorful ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and generous portions made this sub a true culinary masterpiece. The friendly and efficient service only added to the positive experience. I can't wait to return to Pizza Palace for more delicious eats. Highly recommended!

We were not impressed at all. The food was just ok at best. The pizza dough tastes like the frozen kind. The manicotti was bland and the meatball sub was dry. They were out of our favorite beer. It was just not a good experience for us but it was full and they were busy so maybe it was an off day.

Don't listen to any other review. They are all lies. The Food: The pizza here is absolutely horrific and expensive. The pizza is flooded in oil and tasted like so. The Pizza left a horrible taste in my mouth, so much so that I had to go somewhere else mid-way through the meal. Atmosphere: The place is dark and very dull. Seems almost lifeless like it has been abandoned for years. Service: Our server was not the best either. She didn’t even talk to us other than to take our order. She was slow and didn't check up on us once.

Not a fan. The pizza tasted like a frozen crust pizza I could buy at a grocery store. Service was ok. The sub was a joke. Look at the photo. That little maybe 12 oz beer was I think over $4.00

I use to really love and support this place. I'm so disappointed on how much the quality of food went down. My lasagna was cool and had like a can of tart tomato paste. Smh.. it's like it was frozen and sauce/pasted was poured over it. The lasagna noodles are extra thick. At first it was soggy crackers. My 2 Itty bitty pieces of hot dog bun garlic toast was wet.. Geezzz Louise.... This is not Italian. It's more like the Dollar Tree version of Italian Food. I wasted a few dollars, my time and my taste buds. I've never tasted authentic Italian sauce so tart in all my years. However, this is NOT ITALIAN. It's the Dollar Tree version of Italian Food. I'm really disappointed. The chic at the register is not customer friendly. I called in to complain, she didn't even put a manager on the phone. She said ok I'll tell him. Lol.. Really... And that's why their food is sour.
